Alison Ann Sweeney is an American actor, reality host director, and writer. Sweeney is best known for her role as Samantha Sami Brady on the NBC soap opera Days of Our Lives a part she was contracted to play for the series between January 6 and October 30 2014. In 1999, Sweeney realized she'd had it with her. She stayed clear of fads like grapefruit and the cabbage soup diet. She also took healthier steps like abstaining from sugary beverages and starting boot-camp fitness classes. She shed close to 30 pounds. The result was that she lost nearly 30 pounds. Sweeney originates from Irish origins. There are two brothers. She had studied Economics at UCLA before leaving to focus in Days of Our Lives. Sweeney was married to David Sanov in July 2000. They were together for three years. The couple has two children one son who was that was born February 25, 2005, and a daughter born on January 12, 2009.
